Home care for seniors provides personalized support and assistance in the comfort of their own home. Services typically include help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, medication reminders, meal preparation, and companionship. The goal is to promote independence, ensure safety, and improve the quality of life for older adults who wish to age in place. Alethia Senior Care offers a range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Our services also include specialized care for conditions such as dementia and Alzheimer's, post-surgical care, and respite care for family caregivers.

Home care is a vital aspect of any senior's care as it fills a gap between medical care and daily living. It provides assistance not only for the senior but also for their family and support system. Home care offers the necessary support to help a senior age in their home, which is often where they prefer to be. It promotes independence, ensures safety, and improves the quality of life for older adults. Additionally, home care can reduce the risk of hospital readmissions and provide peace of mind for families knowing their loved ones are well cared for in a familiar environment.

Alethia Senior Care was built on three core principles: 1. To provide the level of care that we would expect for our own loved ones. 2. To hire, train, and financially reward caregivers in a way that promotes quality and consistency. 3. To provide flexible and affordable care by eliminating many service requirements that other companies insist on, such as minimum hours and service contracts. With over 32 years of healthcare and home care experience, we understand the challenges seniors and their families face. Our goal is to provide 'Home Care Your Way' by meeting the needs and expectations of our clients and saying yes more often than no. Additionally, we offer specialized services such as dementia care, post-hospitalization support, and personalized care plans to address unique needs.

Unlike Home Health and Hospice, which are typically covered by Medicare or private insurance, Home Care is usually paid for in one of three ways: 1. Private funds, often referred to as private pay. 2. Long Term Care Insurance, which is a separate policy from standard health insurance. 3. Veterans may qualify for support through the VA’s direct care services or its Aid and Attendance program. If you’re unsure whether you qualify for these benefits, Alethia Senior Care can help you navigate the system and find the support that best fits your family’s needs. Contact us at jodi@alethiaseniorcare.com for more information. Additionally, we offer flexible payment plans and can assist in exploring financial aid options to make our services more accessible.

No one likes strangers coming into their house. We try to bridge that gap quickly to build trust. We provide in-person caregiver introductions for all new caregivers assigned to your care. Our caregivers are trained to identify and meet the needs of our clients. To communicate across the care team to be proactive in delivering ongoing care. All of our caregivers are licensed, bonded, and insured for your protection (many private caregivers are not). The bottom line is that we work very hard to find the right match for your or your loved one. Not everyone is going to mesh, so we leave that up to you. If a caregiver does not meet your expectations then we will correct that immediately.
